We first got hints of Google releasing a Nexus Enterprise version in the interview with Andy Rubin, here is a transcript of that interview
09:19 Rubin: This is the first product but there will be other products [in the store] and they will be segmented how you’d expect them to be segmented. There’ll be an enterprise version, a mass market version you know whatever. [The Nexus One] is the superphone version…
Mossberg: Wait back-up there. Of this particular phone [holding up the Nexus One] there’s going to be an enterprise version?
Rubin: In the series of products that are hosted in this online store, yes
Mossberg: Oh in the program
Rubin: Yeah in the program there will be different segments
According to Rubin the Nexus Enterprise will have a QWERTY slide out keypad and [according to T Mobile] is already in the works. The Google Nexus Enterprise looks set to take a stab at the Business end of the mobile industry competing against the likes of the Blackberry. I look forward to seeing the Nexus Enterprise when it is released but will it do better in the first week? We are already aware that Google only sold an (estimated) 20,000 devices when Vodafone claim to have sold 50,000 iPhones in their first week of sales.
Nexus Gossip have also managed to get our hands on an unconfirmed image of the Nexus Enterprise, from what we can see it looks sleek but what is up with the wrist strap? We will try and confirm the image as soon as possible as it has also been referred to as Motorola Shadow, however, we also have unconfirmed reports that Google is switching to Motorola as manufacturers for the Nexus Enterprise.

I remember just a few days ago people found that image and they said that it was the next droid. The Angled structure of the phone would seem to suggest it.
Yes, when the image was leaked it was first said to be the next Droid. However, since then further reports have said it is likely to be the new Nexus One, both of which are unconfirmed. It seems to fit the description of the Nexus One so we will see.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but it looks very good, I am waiting for the specs…
I dunno, I doubt it will be anything too much more impressive than the Nexus One, but we’ll see. I don’t need a QWERY keyboard.
